Ways to discover new music

• Spotify recommendations (what I mostly rely on, for better or for worse)
• Friend recommendations (occasionally I get recs from this)
• Look at genres on Rate Your Music and look at the top albums
  • I've heard advice to do this but haven't really found success the couple of times i tried it
• (Recommendation from makoism blog:) "listen to more global streaming and college radio":  TuneIn,  Broadcasts, Radio.Garden (really cool 3D globe-based radio finder)
