A thought-provoking play exploring human lifespan extension. Good experience.

The big reveal of the play was that the tech CEO had grown clones of himself so that he would have backup organs and such if he needed them for medical reasons (i.e. spare parts for himself).

Well, this may be closer to reality than I would have surmised -- I saw the play about a week ago from coming across this article [1] talking about a "stealth startup" that is (maybe?) working on developing brainless human clones for exactly that purpose. The "brainless" part is different from what the play showed -- so, this potential reality would at least avoid the dilemma shown in the play. Either way, this is quite freaky of a potential technology and gives me a yucky feeling. I kind of hope this does not become a reality and I'm not quite sure why. Something just feels very off about it.
